Tribute To Shark Boy

FRIENDS and family of shark attack victim Peter Edmonds gave emotional tributes at his funeral yesterday, saying he died doing what he loved most surfing.

The 16-year-old was killed last Tuesday while bodyboarding at Lighthouse Beach, Ballina.

Brock Curtis, who brought his injured mate ashore, told the 300 mourners gathered in the northern NSW town of Alstonville: "He taught me the meaning of the ocean and for that I'm thankful."
