Man Serious After Shark Attack In Shallow Water

A MAN is in a serious condition after a shark attack on the Mid-North Coast.
NSW Ambulance spokesman Robert Lumby said the attack happened in half a metre deep water off Kinka Rd, Seal Rocks.
The man suffered serious wounds to the lower part of his leg and foot, Mr Lumby said.
His condition was considered serious.
Bystanders were attempting to help the man when ambulance crews arrived, Mr Lumby said.
The man was stabilised on the scene before being rushed to Taree Base Hospital.
